Photography & Interpretive Show:

Republic of Congo - The Bright Heart of Africa
Allow me to share with you, through photos I have taken over the last two years from my home in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, another perspective of a part of Africa which can't seem to shake loose its description of the continent's "dark heart" since Joseph Conrad published Heart of Darkness in 1902. My talk will also include photos and information about gorilla and forest elephant safaris in Republic of Congo and Central African Republic national parks.

Republic of Congo Gorilla Safari!

October 20 - November 1, 2008

Join me for a thirteen day safari to Nouabale-Ndoki National Park in the Republic of Congo and Dzangha-Sangha National Park in the Central African Repubic. National Geographic photographer Michael Nicholls calls Nouabale-Ndoki "the last place on earth."

I have room for four people. These parks accept only a limited number of visitors at a time.

This is not an easy safari. You must be physically fit and able to accept the likelihood of the unexpected happening.
